Spicy Almond Milk Chai Latte β˜•

As it is January, warm up with a comforting and aromatic Spice Chai Latte made with your choice of oat or almond milk, and sweetened with ZUKR. Enjoy the rich blend of spices and the creamy texture of this delicious hot beverage.

PS: For every tablespoon of regular sugar you replace with ZUKR, you save approximately 48 calories!πŸ“‰πŸŒΏ

Sugar-Free Spicy Almond Milk Chai Latte

Let’s dive into the recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (480 ml) oat or almond milk

  • 2 teaspoons black tea leaves (or 1 tea bag)

  • 2 cinnamon sticks 

  • 4 green cardamom pods, lightly crushed

  • 4 whole cloves

  • 1-inch (2.5 cm) piece of fresh ginger, peeled and thinly sliced

  • 4 teaspoons ZUKR (or to taste)

Instructions:

  1. Prep Time: 15 mins ⏳

  2. Approximately 50–60 calories πŸ“Š

  3. Servings: 2 πŸ₯£

  • Warm oat or almond milk in a saucepan over medium heat without boiling.

  • Add black tea leaves, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, and ginger; stir.

  • Simmer for 5 minutes to infuse spices.

  • Strain the mixture, discarding solids.

  • Return spiced milk to the saucepan on low heat.

  • Stir in ZUKR until dissolved; adjust sweetness.

  • Heat to the desired temperature without boiling.

  • Pour into mugs.
